Before Avatone
During university, a message popped up in our programme’s Discord server. Parsa, my now-boss, was looking for a designer. I needed portfolio pieces, he needed help. A fair trade.
That’s how RepShare started.
The idea
RepShare was built around getting your friends to the gym with you. Positive reinforcement meets physical wellbeing. Fitness apps so often punish you for falling off track. We wanted something that pulled you back in socially rather than making you feel guilty about a missed week.
We worked on it off and on, shaping the concept whenever we had time between classes. The energy was right, even when the schedule wasn’t.
What became of it
RepShare never launched under that name, but it didn’t die either. It shifted focus, evolved, and eventually became what Avatone is today. Sometimes the first version of something is just the seed.
